About us
Before You Lose Yourself was created for people who have spent years showing up for everyone else, and somewhere along the way, forgot how to show up for themselves.
Founded by a mother and daughter, our work is rooted in lived experience: navigating burnout, people-pleasing, emotional overload, and the quiet loss of self that can happen when you’ve learnt to survive by being strong, capable, or endlessly giving.
We don’t teach self-love as a trend or a quick fix.
We teach it as a skill.
A practice.
A relationship you build with yourself over time.
Our approach blends nervous system awareness, emotional regulation, somatic practices, reflection, ritual and compassionate self-inquiry. Everything we create, from our book and workbooks to our programmes and retreats, is designed to be practical, grounding and usable in real life.
This isn’t about becoming a “better version” of yourself.
It’s about coming back to who you already are.
We guide you to understand your patterns, soften your inner critic, strengthen your boundaries, and reconnect to your body and truth, so you can stop living in survival mode and start living from self-trust, safety and alignment.
Whether you begin with a free workbook or join us on retreat, our intention is the same:
to help you build a relationship with yourself that feels steady, honest and nourishing.
Because self-love isn’t something you earn.
It’s something you return to.
